SZE SZE

Early Years Practitioner

Sze Sze is totally new to Early Years, having worked as a shoe designer before coming to England from Hong Kong. She is very keen to learn and is great at caring for our children and helping them to settle in as she understands what it is like coming to a situation where everything is new. Sze Sze is also keen to use her creative skills and share her experience of another culture in the setting.

We are owned by Horsham Parochial Church Council (PCC) who appoint a governance panel to support the staff. Janet Palmart is the chair of this panel and the Reverend Lisa Barnett is the "Nominated Person" on our Ofsted registration. Most of our staff are parents themselves and many have had their own children pass through the Pre-School.

Lai is responsible for the day to day running of the pre-school and gets to know each child really quickly and remembers details about them which surprise all of us. She has 29 years’ experience working with children at a variety of settings and as a childminder and she has a Level 3 childcare qualification. Lai has been a part-time foster carer for special needs children and she has experience of working with children with a wide range of additional needs and working with other professionals to support the children and their parents.
